The Meadows
The meadows is a unique gated community located only 6 minutes east of Truckee. Each property has a custom built home on either 5 or 10 secluded acres among this beautiful yellow pine forest and is equestrian friendly. The proximity of the Meadows to both the world class recreation of the Tahoe region and to shopping in Reno (only 25 minutes away) makes it a preferred community.
Juniper Hills / Creek
Juniper Hills /Creek
Juniper Hills / Juniper Creek is a stunning, gated community seated just past Glenshire. Parcels range from 20 to 80 acres and are zoned from horses. From this gorgeous setting in Juniper Hills / Juniper Creek, you can also see remarkable views of the surrounding mountains and lakes.
West Shore
West Shore
As you travel through Tahoe City and head South West past the “Y” intersection you will be in the beginning of what is known as the West Shore.
Sunnyside is the first community you will reach and this is the start of Old Tahoe. There are several old cabins and homes tucked into the woods and hidden from the road. Here there are also hidden paradises and little gem shops to discover. West Shore and Sunnyside are a must see.
Homewood & Tahoma: As you travel farther down past the “Y” intersection at Tahoe City, deeper into the West shore of Tahoe, you will come across Tahoma and Homewood. Homewood is home of Ski Homewood, a local ski mountain famous for its hidden powder. You will find some of the most extravagant and unique homes in all of Tahoe in this area. It is a wonderful place to explore.
Tahoe City
Tahoe City is the center for shopping and out of town entertainment, though the locals love it here too. Tahoe City has a wide variety of shops and exquisite dining choices. Tahoe City itself rests on the breathtaking shores of Lake Tahoe at the mouth of the famed Truckee River. One of the most beautiful beaches is Commons Beach located right off of the main Boulevard in the center of town. Here is where many fun, summertime events take place, including a free, family-oriented music series.
